SOCIAL CREDIT LEAGUE
BAPANUI-BELFAST BRANCH The “very encouraging work’’ being done by branches and sub-branches of the Social Credit Political League throughout Canterbury was mentioned by the Canterbury president of the league (Mr T. A. Ward) at the annual meeting of ihe Papanui-Belfast subassociation. T’he association reported an increase in membership during the year. The following officers were elected: president, Mr A. W. Crawley; vice-, presidents. Messrs G. M. Dorreen and J. H. Foley: secretary. Mr D. Pratt; assistant secretary-treasurer. Mrs J. A. I Biggs; committee, Mrs D. Bell. Messrs J. A. Biggs, P. Ragg. S. Bell. R. Stevens. R. Groves; electoral branch delegates. Messrs A. W. Crawley and G. M. Dorreen.
