Henry Moore Bust for Auckland
?n important work by the English sculptor, Henry Moore, is to be acquired by the Auckland City Council. The library committee of the council has decided to buy the sculpture, which is on offer from an English collector for £250. The chairman of the committee (Mrs M. M. Dreaver) said the sculpture, a bronze head of a girl, had been described as a very important example of Moore’s work. It was executed in 1923.
