Dr. D. P. Kennedy, Assistant Director of the Division of Hospitals in the Health Department, is visiting Christchurch on leave. He was medical officer of health in Christchurch before taking up his present appointment.Mr W. G. Waites beat Mr T. S. Dove in an election for the Canterbury and Westland producers’ representative on the New Zealand Poultry Board for the next two years. The present member (Mr A. Button) did not seek re-election.
