More Issues Traded On Stock Exchange
Business recorded yesterday by the Christchurch Stock Exchange covered a wider range of securities than for some time. Most of the parcels traded were small ones, but a good total was reached.
Prices moved variably, most of the Australian shares maintaining recent values. JBank of N.S.W., rights, sold at the unaltered price of £5 12s 6d and at £5 12s and £5 10s. C.B.A. and Coles improved and Woolworths were on offer at Tuesday’s price of 15s 3d. N;Z. Farmers’ Co-op. A preference and Reid Rubber were easier. Other sales were made at unaltered prices.
