ILLUSTRATED LECTURE ON VISIT TO RUSSIA
Last year's parade in Red Square. Moscow, on the r.nniversary of the October revolution, and sheep breeding on a collective farm in Armenia, were featured in ai illustrated lecture given Mr J . w - D - Hall, of Horofata• The meeting was sponsored by the Canterbury Housewives’ Union. Mr Hall’s coloured slides showed many sections of the parade through Red Square, including military formations, athletes and trade union representatives. In Armenia, Mr Hall saw one of the oldest native breeds of sheep in the world, and his slides showed the various types being developed.
