Swedish Royal Regalia In Disrepair

(Rec. 10 p.m.) STOCKHOLM, Mar. 13. Sweden’s Sword of State was rusty and jewels had fallen out of their settings in some of the Ro”al crowns, a spokesman for the Treasury Board for the Rating of vernment Property said today. He added that the enai.iel in some of the crowns was cracking and that the handle of one of the Royal scentres was loose.

The Swedish Government has allotted 3500 crowns (about £250) for repairs to the regalia.
