SAVILE CUP POLO COMPETITION
FINALISTS KIHIKIHI A AND MORRINSVILLE (New Zealand Press Association) HAMILTON, March 9. Finalists in the Savile Cup polo competition at Claudelands tomorrow will be Morrinsville and Kihikihi A. Kihikihi last won the cup in 1954, and Morrinsville in 1953. Last year’s winner, Taupiri, was eliminated in one of the semi-finals this afternoon, when Morrinsville won, 11-4. In the other semi-final, Kihikihi beat Poverty Bay. 5-2. Junior Cup semi-finals resulted: Waimai B 3. Matangi B 1; Auckland IB 4. Cambridge 83.
