A seven-month holiday in America and Canada became something of a public relations tour on behalf of New Zealand for Mr Rex Sayers, senior announcer at IYA, who returned to Auckland in the Orsova. Publicity Department’s office in San Francisco, presented the New Zealand scene over televison at New York, Washington and Pittsburgh.
