Soviet Welcome To Decision
(Rec. 10 p.m.) MOSCOW, March 1. President Eisenhower’s decision to seek re-election is likely to be welcomed by Soviet leaders, according to diplomatic observers in Moscow. Mr Eisenhower has been almost immune from criticism in the Soviet press, although the United States Government and particularly the Secretary of State (Mr Dulles) have been constant targets. The average Russian has been encouraged to regard the President as a “man of peace.’’
