NORTH ISLAND SHOW HORSES

SOUTH ISLAND TOUR BY FIVE JUMPERS (New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON, February 17. The New Zealand Horse Society has arranged a tour of the South Island next month and in April by a representative team of five show jumpeis from the North Island. The horses and riders chosen are Win Again (W. Meech. Hawke’s Bay), Telebrae ‘D. Gordon, Waikato). Sportsmastor ‘B. Hansen. Poverty Bay), <R. Cooke. Auckland). Chevalier (Miss S. Dods, Poverty Bay). A reserve is Waipunga (J. Renton. Hawke's Bay). Meech has been apnointed captain, and Mr D. Holden will be’team manager. Win Again and Te’ebrae both went to Sydney last year with the New Zealand show jumping team, and Matatoki was among the 10 finalists from which that team was selected. The team will leave Wellington on March 21 and will appeal- at Blenheim on March 24, Kaikoura on March 26, Christchurch on March 29 and 31. Fairlie on April 2. Dunedin on April 7 and 10 and Invercargill on April 14.
