£l00 STOLEN FROM HOTEL
After climbing a high concrete block wall in St. Asaph street, thieves entered the Royal George Hotel, on the corner of Fitzgerald avenue and St. Asaph street, and stole about £lOO in notes and silver from seven tills in the bar on Wednesday night. The theft occurred between 9.45 p.m. on Wednesday and 7.15 a.m. yesterday. Once over the concrete wall, the thieves apparently had little difficulty in forcing the bar door with a jemmy. The tills were emptied of about £6O in notes and about £4O in silver.
