WRIT FOR ALLEGED LIBEL
£l5OO DAMAGES SOUGHT (New Zealand Press Association) AUCKLAND, February 16. A £l5OO damages claim is made in a writ for alleged libel filed in the Auckland Supreme Court by Allan James Taylor, a cargo worker, against Party Publications, Ltd., Wellington Taylor is vice-president of the Auckland Cargo Workers’ Union. Party Publications. Ltd., is the publisher of the National Party newspaper, “Freedom.” The basis of the claim is an article published in “Freedom.” describing a meeting of watersiders over which Mr Taylor presided.
