N.Z. BEATS BRITAIN IN THIRD TEST (New Zealand Press Association) AUCKLAND, February 13. Excellent team work enabled the New Zealand motor-cycle team to beat the English teain, 29-18, in the third test at Western Springs Stadium on Saturday night. Just back from England and having his first ride for four months. Barry Briggs rode superbly to win 10 points for New Zealand. The next best New Zealand rider was Ronnie Moore, who scored eight points. Star of the Englishmen was Ken McKinlay, with two wins and two seconds. The first test, h-ld in Christchurch’ resulted in a draw. England won the Masterton test.
