MINOR FIRES

Two units from the Christchurch Fire Brigade answered a call to the new Cashmere High School at 10.33 a.m. yesterday, when tar in a boiler caught fire. No damage was done, and the fire was put out by foam extinguishers. ,

A grass fire in Curries road was ptit out by a unit from the Woolston station shortly after noon. There was no damage. Slight damage was done to interior walls when fire broke out in the Classic Cake Kitchen. 648 Colombo street. Two units from the Woolston station attended at 3.55 p.m.
