WELLINGTON SIDE TO PLAY INDIES
(New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON, February 2.. The Wellington cricket team to play the West Indies at the Basin Reserve on February 10, 11, and 13, was announced last evening by the selectors, Messrs A. M. Matheson and J. G. Ashenden. W. Haskell, the promising Midland bowler who toured Australia with the Nev. Zealand Colts side, and T. G. McMahon, the New Zealand test wicketkeeper, have been brought in. A. Edgar, of Kilbirnie, who played in three Plunket Shield games, was not available. The players are: R. T. Barber (captain), E. W. Dempster, A. H. Preston, L. S. M. Miller, J. E. F. Beck, D. S. St. John, L. A. Clark. B. W. Sinclair, T. G. McMahon. W. Haskell, B D. Morrison. The twelfth man is D. W. Crowe.
