Sir, —While sympathising with “Wilted” of Harwarden for not being in the heat news, we also were sorry for ourselves when the reading on» our shady porch was 103 degrees one day last week. The next day with 98 degrees seemed comparatively cool. Yours, etc., WE ALSO WILTED. Hanmer, January 25, 1956.
