Balkan Pact Nations To Meet Again
(Rec. 11.10 p.m.) ATHENS, Jan. 24. Greece has agreed to a meeting in March of the Foreign Ministers of the Balkan Pact countries Turkey, Greece, and Jugoslavia. A Foreign Ministry spokesman said Greece would attend this meeting, the first since the anti-Greek riots in Istanbul last September provided the prerequisites for the restoration of GreekTurkish relations were fulfilled. Diplomatic quarters in Athens believe that Greece’s claim will be satisfied when the bill of compensation for damage to Greek property in Istanbul, at present before the Turkish Parliament, has been passed.
