THE REV. D. McNEUR

(New Zealand Press Association) AUCKLAND, January 23. The Rev. David McNeur, of Bonny Glen, Marton, whose four brothers were all ministers, died at his home in Marton last week. He was 65. Mr McNeur was born in Otago. His father was a teacher, but all five sons were ministers. One brother was the late Dr. George McNeur, a well-known China missionary. Mr McNeur attended the Presbyterian Theological Hall in Dunedin from 1916 to 1918. He was ordained at Kaurihore, north of Whangarei, in 1918. His parishes included Kakaka (Hawke’s Eay), Fordell (near Wanganui), Mataura, and Masterton. His last parish was Waipu, from which he retired to Bonny Glen, Marton. He is survived by his widow, one daughter, and one soon.
