United, in the Malvern cricket competition on Saturday. G. Wilson bowled well for South Malvern, taking six wickets for 29 runs? R. McKay with six for 38 also bowled well for United. R. Stuart (South Malvern) batted well for his 62. In the Greendale-Darfield game J. Adams bowled well for Greendale, his figures being six for 20, including four wickets from the last six balls. Results:— South Malvern 115 (R. Stuart 62; R. McKay six for 38, P. O’Brien two for 26) beat United 80 (G. Middlewood 20 not out, J. Woodhouse 18; G. Wilson six for 29. O.
