NATIONAL ELECTRIC’S ACCOUNTS
Net profit of the National Electrical and Engineering Company, Ltd., Wellington, declined by £10,879 to £52,991 in the year ended October 31. The result was struck after provision of £11,600 less for taxation at £61,400. As previously announced, dividend is unchanged at 25 per cent., and requires £29,567. No addition has been made to reserves, which were credited with £50,000 in the previous year, and a balance of current profit of £23,424 remains to increase the carry-forward to £67,876.
