Mrs M. Greene, of England, formerly Miss Rosemary Clark Hall, of Christchurch, will arrive in Christchurch by air today from Melbourne to visit her parents. Sir Robert and Lady Clark Hall, Cashmere. Mrs Greene, who will be accompanied by her two small children, has lived in England for the last few years. She plans to spend two months in Christchurch.

Today, 22 girls, whose ages range between 10 and 15 years, will return from the first Y.W.C.A. camp at Spencerville. The weather has been ideal for camping and the girls have thoroughly enjoyed their stay at "The Blue Triangle.” On New Year’s Eve they had a fancy dress party and entertained local residents, who provided supper. Residents have been most helpful and have raised a considerable sum of money for the building. New Year’s Day was visitor’s day at the camp and many parents of the girls and their friends gathered there. In the evening, the camp chaplain (the Rev. C. S. Knight) conducted a service. Miss Rosemary Barlee (camp organiser). Miss Rose Johnston and Miss Daphne Chapman (camp advisers) were in camp with the girls. On Monday, January 9, another group of girls, including some from Dunedin, will go to the camp for 10 days. On January 15, the camp will be officially dedicated by the Rev. C. S. Knight, and the public will be invited to attend.

A former New Zealander, Hall Ludlow, who is a successful couturier in Melbourne, received the award for the Victorian gown of the year recently. The' first signature in the Glenelg Health Camp new visitors’ book is that of Dame Hilda Ross. When she signed the book vesterday. it was the first time she had written her full title since she was honoured by the Queen in the New Year honours.
