KUALA LUMPUR. January 3.

The New Zealand airborne commandos of the Special Air Services Regiment will be ready for action next month.

A highly placed military source said today that 120 New Zealanders, who have been training with the British Special Air Services Regiment, will begin deep jungle patrols in February. Today the New Zealanders were visited by the commander-in-chief. Far East Land Forces, General Sir Charles Loewen.

There was no formal inspection of troops, but Sir Charles Loewen spoke privately with groups of the men.
