GOVERNOR’S BAY-ALLANDALE HIGHWAY
Sir, —It now seems likely that an earlv start will be made with the reconstruction and sealing of the Governor's Bay-Allandale highway, and residents on this road have asked me to write and thank your paper for the support it has given them in having this improvement sanct’oned They also greatly apnreciate tho assistance given to the project by Mr Harry Lake the member for the district. Nevertheless. residents will be relieved when a contract has been let foY the work and a definite commencing date has been announced. —Yours, etc..
