Couple Vanish As Their Wedding Guests Arrive

(Rec. 9 p.m.) LONDON, December 9. The mystery of the bride from the picturesque Devon village. Clyst Saint George, who vanished yesterday with her bridegroom. leaving wedding guests standing, was front page news in London's national newspapers today. The “Daily Mail” said that the wedding had been fixed for 2.30 p.m. at the village church. Guests included tenants from the bridegroom’s family estates. , Then the vicar, the Rev. Charles Bray, pinned a notice on the church door saying that the wedding would not take place. This preceded the news that the bride, attractive Enid Pidsley, who is 22, of Clyst Manor House, had disappeared with the groom.
