CATCHMENT BOARD OFFICERS

Mr R. M. D. Johnson was re-elected chairman of the North Canterbury Catchment Board by the annual meeting yesterday, and was reappointed as the board’s representative on the Catchment Boards’ Association. Mr A. T. Bell was elected deputychairman, replacing Mr E. J. Stalker. Chairmen of the committees appointed were Messrs Bell (drainage and rivers control), Johnson (soil conservation and reserves), and T. W Preston (finance).
