NEW MEAT SHIPS FOR N.Z. TRADE (NZ Press Association—Copyright) LONDON. November 22. The Shaw Savin Line today ordered two more refrigerated motor-ships for its service between Britain and Australia and New Zealand. They will be built in Britain and will have a gross tonnage of about 11,500. Except that they will be singlescrew vessels, they will be similar to the-Canopic and Cretic now in service. They will have a service speed of 17 knots and a capacity of about 375.000 cubic feet for refrigerated cargoes, including chilled beef, and about 250,000 cubic feet for general cargo.
