MAGISTRATE’S COURT AT KAIKOURA
LICENCE SUSPENDED FOR DANGEROUS DRIVING
On a charge of driving in a dangerous manner, John Honana was convicted and fined £5 and his licence was suspended for 28 days before Mr F. F. Reid, S.M., in the Magistrate’s Court, Kaikoura. For other breaches of the traffic regulations brought by the Transport Department (Mr D. W. Simpson) fines were imposed as follows: Exceeding 30 miles an hour in a restricted area: Joe John Parkinson, £5; Terence Gravil, £2; James Armitage Stanley, £3. Failing to signal intention to turn: Bernard Joseph Rathbun, £l. Driving a noisy motor vehicle: William Henry Doig, £2.
