FINAL PROGRAMME ANNOUNCED

FIRST TEST TO BE AT HYDERABAD

The first test between the touring New Zealand cricketers and India will be played in November at Hyderabad instead of Kampur, according to the final programme for the tour, which was announced in Benares today. New Zealand will play 10 matches, including five tests, on the following dates: November 19, 20, 22, 23, 24, at Hyderabad; December 2,3, 4,6, 7, at Bombay; December 16, 17, 18, 20, 21, at Delhi; December 30, 31, January 1,3, 4, at Calcutta: January 7,8, 9, 11, 12, at Madras.

The other matches, all of three days, will be: Combined Services and Maharahtra team, Poona, November 15, 16, 17; v. South Zope, at Bangalore, November 26, 27, 28; v. Indian eleven, at Ahmedabad, December 10, 11, 12; v. East Zone, in Uttar Pradesh (venue not yet fixed), December 23, 24, 25; v. Universities, at Nagpur, January 13, 14, 15.
