WORKER IN QUARRY KILLED LOADER CAPSIZES (New Zealand Press Association) A.UCKLAND, September 14. entP’oyed at McLean’s Waitawheta valley, was killed instantly this afternoon when a frontend loader got out of control and capsized. He was EriC „H’!"? l Frewin, aged 49, married, of Union street, Waihi. CAR DRIVER KILLED HEAD-ON COLLISION WITH TRUCK (New Zealand Press Association) AUCKLAND, September 14. A man was killed instantly when the car he was driving was involved in a head-on collision with a logging truck on the Mamaku Hills, about 20 miles from Rotorua, at 6 p.m. today. He was Frank Edward Sydney O’Brien, aged 53. a clerk, of 29 Devon street, Rotorua. SOLDIERS INJURED WHEN TRUCK CAPSIZES (New Zealand Press Association) TAIHAPE, September 14. Two members of the Special Air Service Squadron from Waiouru Military Camp were injured when early this morning a truck in which they were travelling went over a bank at Rangiwahia. They are Colin Stanley Livingstone, who fractured his pelvin and whose condition is reported tn be serious, and Ashley Frederick Dorman, who suffered multiple abrasions.
