TWO DAY MATCH IN PRAGUE

Emil Zatopek, Czech Olympic 10,000 metres and 5000 metres champion, will run over both distances in the two-day athletics match between Czechoslovakia and Britain, in Prague tomorrow and Thursday. J exGordon Pirie and . the cross-country champion, Frank Sandb, will be Britain’s representatives in the 10,000 metres, to be run on Thursday, and Derek Ibbotson, Sando, and Ken Norris in the shorter events tomorrow. Chris Chataway will not compete because of business commitments. On recent performances, Britain should beat Czechoslovakia in their team match. Chataway, winner of the 5000 metres against Russia, said on his arrival by air in London today that British athletes will have to step up their • training by 50 per cent, to have a chance of winning Olympic titles in Melbourne next year. Chataway confirmed that he, Brian Hewson. Chris Brasher, Ken Norris, Gordon Pirie, and John Disley will make an effort to train together on a London track to try to improve before the Olympic Games.
