Play 3 ; was affected by the wet and slippery =t courts. Twelve teams are competing for the y President’s shield. Last year’s winner, y Rotorua, was promoted to first grade. n Hutt Valley and Taranaki are joint holders of the Hayhurst Cup for the tours * nament runners-up. ir The tournament will end on Saturday with a North Island-South Island match. ® Today’s results were:— West Coast 16, Ashburton 15; Taranaki 1 26, Waikato 10; Hutt Valley 31, Nelson 13; Matamata 25, Horowhenua 18; Marly borough 19, Manawatu 18; Southland Minor 40.
