Summit Road Scenic Society.— Professor Arnold Wall, speaking to the Summit Road Scenic Society recently, mentioned the plan he submitted to the Christchurch City Council some years ago, advocating timber production on the Port Hills. He also spoke of the many walks he had made on the hills over the last 50 years, and the many interesting plants he had seen in his rambles. Mr J. Watling presided.
