OPAWA CLUB

Considering the apparent general lack of interest in tennis, and the large influ: of new members during last year, the fact that the total has risen from 215 tc 225 might be regarded as satisfactory, says the report presented at the annual meeting of the Opawa Lawn Tennis Club. The treasurer’s statement of accounts shows that the club has had another satisfactory year financially, although the rising cost of maintaining the courts and buildings at the customary high standard necessitates the consideration of means of increasing the club’s revenue, says the report.
