ENGLISH MIGRANTS IN RANGITATA
DRAFT OR 201 EXPECTED ON THURSDAY
More than half the 201 assisted English immigrants who will arrive at Wellington in the Rangitata on August 18 have been nominated for admission to New Zealand by friends, relatives, and employers. Fifty-four will come to Christchurch. Ninety persons will come to the South Island, and 24 .of them, the members of seven families., will be accommodated at the Tasman Hostel. Building and engineering tradesmen, farm workers, teachers, clerks, and shop assistants are among the passengers in the Rangitata. About 650 Dutch" immigrants left Amsterdam in the Waterman on August 6. They will arrive at Wellington on September 7, and about 10 will come to Christchurch,
