DOUBLES CHAMPIONS BEATEN

Some faces were read among competitors in the senior table tennis A grade competition recently, and it was not only through. exertion. In the match between Eagles Re dand Eagles Green, the Canterbury men’s doubles champions, R. Radford and D. Hill were beaten in straight sets by the Canterbury women’s doubles champions, Misses J. Williamson and J. Cox. Miss Williamson also won her singles matches against Radford and Selwyn I, with 18 points, leads in the competition by four points from University and Eagles Green.
