ROYAL VISIT TO WALES.—The Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh at St. Davids, Pembrokeshire, on August 7, when they attended divine service in the historic Cathedral of St. David and St. Andrew. With Her Majesty is the dean, the Very Rev. C, Witton-Davies. The Queen’s visit to the Cathedral was the first to be made by a reigning monarch since King Edward I made a pilgrimage there in 1284 with his consort, Queen Eleanor.
