MATCH AGAINST COMBINED BULLER-COAST TEAM (From Our Opjn Reporter) HOKITIKA, August 15. In an interprovincial golf match on Sunday, played at Hokitika, Buller-West Coast defeated Canterbury by 10J games to 7J, thte foursomes being halved The course was heavy as light rain fell for an hour in the morning, but the weather was fine for the rest of the day, with a stiff northerly breeze. In the following results, Buller-Weot Coast players are mentioned first:— Foursomes: L. J. Domigan and T. T. Pfahlert beat A. F. Green and L. Morris. 6 and 5; M. Ewing and R. Donaldson beat J. D. Bull and F. Roberts, 4 and 3; A. Bond and A. Black beat D. Murdoch and L. Harper. 3 and 1; J. M. Thomas and'D. McVicar lost to M. McNally and R. J. Ramsay, 2 and 1; W. Deans and P. Gutbarlet lost to R. K. Atkinson and K. Foxton. 4 and 3; R. Smith and B. Lovell lost'to D. B. Treleaven and J. Mangan. 4 and 3.
