Minor Fires.— A scrub fire in a vacant section at Bassett street, Burwood, was attended by a unit from the Central Fire Station at 12.40 p.m. on Saturday. There was no damage. A hedge fire on the jorner of Worcester street and Fitzgerald avenue was quickly • by one unit from the Central station >t 2.30 pm.
