PLAN TO REFIT N.Z. CRUISER
(Special Correspondent N.Z.P.A.) LONDON, August 12. Although arrangements for the loan of the cruiser Royalist to the New Zealand Government by the British Government have still not been officially completed, plans for refitting the ship are proceeding in order that she may be ready for acceptance by the Dominion early next year. Captain Brian Turner, R.N.Z.N., liaison officer in London, has visited Devonport, Plymouth, and discussed with the dockyard authorities additional New Zealand requirements for living quarters and equipment.
