ST. MARY’S CHURCH, HEATHCOTE

95TH ANNIVERSARY SERVICE A special service was held at St Mary’s Anglican Church, Heathcote, last evening to commemorate the ninety-fifth anniversary of the founding of the church. The preacher waa Archdeacon W. W. Averill, who alee read the lesson. A large congregation attended. . In his address Archdeacon Averill outlined the purpose of the church ai' seen from 95 years of its service. He also spoke of St, Paul’s conception of the Church as the body of Christ. The service was conducted by oU Norris Collins, who is a lay reader of the church.
