RESIDENTS REQUEST REZONING

AREAS IN LINWOOD AND PHILLIPSTOWN A request that certain areas in Linwood and Phillipstown should be rezoned residential is to be included in a letter to the Regional Planning Authority from x he Linwood-Phillipstown Residents’ and Ratepayers’ Association. This was decided at a meeting of the association last evening. The areas concerned are blocks facing Fitzgerald avenue and bounded by Ferry road, Leeds and Phillip streets; Tuam, St. Asaph, and Phillip streets; Tuam, Essex, and Saxon streets. An area bounded by Falsgrave and Lismore streets and Lancaster Park, which has already been rejected by the authority, is included in the request for rezoning as a residential area.
