REUNION OF 1905 ALL BLACKS
TEN EXPECTED TO ATTEND (New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON, August 1. Of the 12 surviving members of the 1905 All Blacks, 10 are expected to attend the fiftieth anniversary celebration to be held in WeHington on August 20, on the occasion of the Australia-New Zealand test at Athletic Park.
The secretary of the New Zealand Rugby Union (Mr G. H. Geddes) reported to the union’s executive committee todhy that acceptances had been received from Messrs H. L. Abbott (Palmerston North), J. J. O’Sullivan (Hawera), J. W. Stead (Invercargill), G. GUlett (Auckland), J. Hunter (Wanganui), F. Newton (Ranglora), G. W. Nicholson (Auckland), W. J. Wallace (Wellington), and A. McDonald (Dunedin). Mr F. Roberts (Wellington) hoped to be present, but was in ill-health. For similar reasons Mr S. Casey (Dunedin) was unable to attend. The other member, Mr C. E. Seeling, is in England.
