AIR FORCE BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT
Indoor and .outdoor basketball teams will arrive at the Royal New Zealand Air Force station. Wigram, from all stations in New Zealand to compete in a tournament on Thursday and Friday of this week. Altogether 18 teams will take part. At the end of the tournament. Air Force representative teams will be chosen to compete in the inter-services' tournament at Auckland on August 4.
Indoor basketball matches will be played in the gymnasium at Wigram among eight women’s teams and six men’s teams. Outdoor matches for the four women’s teams entered will be played on the Hagley Park courts on Thursday and Friday mornings.
