THE ROYAL AIR FORCE HAS A FLYING SAUCER.—A “flying saucer” lands in the arena of London’s White City during a rehearsal for an armed forces’ searchlight tattoo. The saucer was a feature of the tattoo when it made a 200ft descent in a darkened arena and with light flashing in a make-believe invasion from Mars. The saucer was launched on a cable from the top of the highest stand.
