ARMY ENGINEERS PLAN REUNION
(New Zealand Press Association) LEVIN, July 7. Plans are being advanced by a Levin group for a reunion of former Army Engineers in Levin this year. At a meeting last night 35 former engineers from six neighbouring districts attended, and a tentative date in November was set for the reunion. It is believed that this will be the first reunion of engineers held since the end of World War 11. Registrations are expected to total between 600 and 700. Mr G. P. Boggs was elected interim chairman, and Mr W. G. Phillips interim secretary-treasurer. Endeavours are being made to secure names and addresses of former Army engineers.
