Polio Vaccinations In Canada
(Rec. 10 p*.m.) t)TTAWA, July 6. Nearly 1.000.000 Canadian children had been inoculated against poliomyelitis without one mishap, the Federal Minister of Health (Mr Paul Martin) told the Canadian House of Commons today.
Mr Martin said that all children had received two vaccinations. The best scientific opinion was that the programme should not be continued during the-summer, when the poliomyelitis season was at its height. This decision [had been made about a year ago.
