Soldier Sentenced For Collaboration
(Rec. 10 p.m.) NEW YORK, June 29. Coiporal Harold Dunn, aged 26, a Korean veteran who admitted collaborating with the enemy while a prisoner of war, was sentenced today by a military eourt to imprisonment with eight years’ hard labour and a dishonourable discharge. The Court also decreed forfeiture of all pay and allowances for Dunn. In a confession, Dunn admitted he told his Communist captors that the United States was guilty of germ warfare. He also made propaganda broadcasts over the Peking Radio, in which he triec to play on the emotions of the relatives of prisoners and appealed to then to bring on the United States Government to accept a Soviet peace proposal. ________________
