NEW SCHOOL AT ARAHURA OFFICIALLY OPENED.—The offi cial opening of the Arahura School, performed, by Mr. J. B. Kent, M.P., recently. T he school was built at a cost of £9000 and has two classrooms, cloakroom, fuel store, as well as well as a separate cycle shed and lavatory block. The Canterbury Education B oard Plans to erect soon a teacher's residence nearby. This will cost about £3000.
