PAPANUI SECTIONS SOLD
ONE REALISES £950 Of four building sections at the the Main North road and avenue, Papanui, offered at public auction last evening, two were and- two others, including one with a full-sized concrete tennis court, were passed in. Bidding for the lections, . which are opposite the Waimairi County Council Chambers, n °t particularly keen. Th® two sold, of 29 perches, and 75.8 links frontage to Halliwell avenue, •ealised £925 and £950, the latter partly fenced. The section with -he tennis court, 44.8 perches in an L shape was passed in at £950 and he other, of 27.3 perches and 83.35 '.inks frontage to the North road, was passed in at £975. It is edged by ihrubs and partly fenced. Another lot offered in Steaner street, ’-ff Halliwell avenue, of 35 perches 75.8 links frontage, sold at £875. Described by the auctioneers as ideally situated in the middle of a Dig development area,” 11 sections of the Branston subdivision. SockburnHomby, were also offered last evening. Two sold at £450 and £420 respectively and the others were passed in at £425. All the sections have frontages to Branstdn street, off Amyes road. The one sold for £450 ts on the corner of Branston street and ■ proposed road.
