CHRISTCHURCH. “Dear Sirs, I feel sure you would like a report on the wonderful performance on a trip to Dunedin of the 750 cc. Renault car which J purchased from your Firm recently. I had a most enjoyable trip to Dunedin and as my car was new I could not run it over 30 miles an hour. I was very impressed with its very comfortable riding and the performance on hill* was Quite a surprise. Journeying over the Kilmog I was waiting to change gears but to rny surprise the Renault climbed the hill in top gear. As you know, I have been driving cars for many years and I consider this a remarkable performance tor a small horse-powered car. "On reaching Dunedin, I checked my petrol consumption thoroughly and it .? nly 4 gallons, which works out at itself ll6B l ° the Eal,on Tllis s beaks for "I thought 1 would give my car another hill-climbing test as I was in Port Chalmers recently, and I took the short cut up to the Brown House. This is a very steep hill with bad surfaces but mv Renault simply flew up the hill with no trouble and a good margin of power. "The indapendent four-wheel suspension on the Renault gives you the feeling of comfort which you get in a big heavy car, and I consider the specifications of the 750 Renault are more up-to-date than any other light car on the market. The wet sleeve engine has certainly a big advantage over cars without this type of engine. “I can certainly recommend a Renault to anybody who desires a very high quality light car. Yours truly. (Sgnd.) E. F. HOHMANN.” We extend a cordial invitation inspect the 1955 models now on view Immediate delivery, ADAMS, LIMITED. 219 Tuam street, Christchurch. 4207
